Project Manager - Remote Opportunity

Position Overview:

The Facility Sourcing Project Manager supports the Development Team in copacker identification, copacker relationships, and production setup for all beverage development projects. Facility Sourcing Project Manager will work closely with internal partners and external copackers to drive projects forward and foster growing relationships. Facility Sourcing Project Manager must be able to stay organized across several priorities with a passion for project management, developing relationships, and continuous improvement.

 

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Development client project timelines, resources, and drive successful outcomes of client
  • Ensure delivery and completion of all development deliverables including formulations, copacker identification, cost of goods sold and cash schedule, production set-up, and first production planning
  • Develop new client relationships and maintain existing client relationships with the goal of new and repeated profitable business
  • Maintain and utilize beverage industry knowledge – Be the expert! Must use internal resources/expertise to expand your knowledge 
  • Drive all internal development processes within the organization that impact the ability to service the client
  • Continuously develop and expand a thorough understanding of NetSuite & Smartsheet as a SME
  • For assigned projects, review SOWs to ensure complete understanding of project scope
  • Communicate timely and effectively with client success teams and manager regarding any secondary opportunities
  • Participate in Kick Off Call with clients and align expectations of project by confirming details of the SOW and client’s needs
  • Create concise project timelines and communicate details to the client
  • Conduct routine calls with client to review project status
  • Understand co-packer relationships and capability knowledge to be able to provide exceptional service levels to our clients
  • Work with client to develop packaging options as desired ensuring they align with co-packer capabilities
  • Oversee new artwork set-up with clients and vendors through the sourcing and procurement team
  • Oversee compliance for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and demonstrate complete understanding of compliance regulations and certification requirements – FDA, TTB, Organic, Kosher, Gluten Free, etc.
  • Validate proper set up for all production clients, their finished good products, and associated raw materials in NetSuite. I.e. Setup pack fees, update raw material items, build bill of materials (assemblies) as needed in NetSuite and review cost of goods sold and cash modeling for new product concepts
  • Advise clients on general supply chain and cost saving strategies
  • Oversee commercialization process for production set-up of new products
  • Execute the ordering, planning, and post-production assemblies of first production runs for development clients 
  • Conduct a transition meeting whereby you are transitioning the client to other departments for additional services 
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth
  • Participate in the BevSource EOS/Traction Process
  • Traveling to manufacturing facilities to monitor large-scale production for new and/or existing BevSource clients is required
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 20% of the time

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent of 4+ years of related, professional experience required
  • 2-4 years minimum experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, Production Planning, Purchasing or similar role
  • 2+ years of leading complex client facing projects from conception through completion
  • Experience in Project Management software required, Smartsheet preferred
  • Experience developing strong business relationships by building trust, rapport and excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, team members and vendors
  • A high degree of learning agility, with the ability to readily consume and apply new information and concepts with developed analytical problem-solving skills
  • The ability to manage 10-20 projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Projects may be both internal & external
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Mindset of continuous improvement to help drive changes in processes
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus

Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000/yearly
